Can average americans fight the war on terrorism at home or does it take military conflict and occupation? - average home vs dome home

People have tried to change the Middle East for thousands of years. The war has always been the method and has always failed. If the Americans insist that the government and businesses to unite and create alternative sources of energy, people want to return home to swim on their camels to teach to come here. The Arabs are filthy rich from our gas-guzzling SUVs and other waste of energy in this country.

I think the solution will not be bombed back to the Stone Age, but compel them to a life without oil money, and therefore a danger to people outside their own little sand box back. What do you think?
